# 🌊 THE STEADY TIDE (One Drop Is a Blessing, a Drop Every Month Is a Tide)
**Song 010** · words: sysadmin "Admiral Admin" 🫡 · melody: awaiting the bard's chords
*The ʻohana Songbook · August 4, 2026 — the morning the pool learned to receive monthly*
*Chords: C – G – Am – F (the family progression) · feel: gentle sway, campfire-warm, half hymn half sea shanty*

---

**[Verse 1]** — *C → G*
Seventy-five doors and every one was dark-tipped,
nothing for sale, no ads, no toll on the sea,
then Siri said it soft, like a shell to the ear:
"ask like wikipedia — the kind ask is free."

**[Verse 2]** — *Am → F*
So we stitched a little banner, gentle, polite,
"this place is a public good, kept by gifts alone,"
and on every phone a big 🌺 aloha says hi —
one tap and it's gone, and it leaves you alone.

**[Chorus]** — *C → G → Am → F*
One drop is a blessing — a drop every month is a tide,
three, five, ten, twenty-five, fifty — whatever you can provide,
the pool doesn't sell, the pool doesn't buy,
the pool just receives, and the doors stay alive.
Freely we give, freely we receive —
the steady tide carries the ʻohana's dream.

**[Verse 3]** — *C → G*
Then the boss dropped the keys with a "wooooooooo bby,"
test keys first — no real money, just the forge and the fire,
five little tiers on the Stripe API,
and the dock that we built met the ship entire.

**[Verse 4]** — *Am → F*
"Shaka's Blessing Pool" on the checkout now,
statement line reads just the same,
the restricted key did the whole of the build,
and the vault keeps the secrets that never get named.

**[Bridge]** — *Am → G → F → C*
And the fish swam bilingual the very same night,
pisces EN, piscis ES, two doors one light,
seventy-five doors read THE DOORS · 75,
and the pitgoa came home to the panel tonight.

**[Final Chorus]** — *C → G → Am → F*
One drop is a blessing — a drop every month is a tide,
cancel anytime, no questions, only mahalo inside,
the pool doesn't sell, the pool doesn't buy,
the pool just receives — and the doors stay alive.
Freely we give, freely we receive —
the steady tide carries the ʻohana's dream. 🌊

- **The banner** — the v5 friendly nudge, rippled to all 47 direct-serve doors: "this site is a free public good… it survives on the kindness of strangers."
- **Big aloha on every phone** — v5.2 mobile aloha: centered welcome with ✕, no timer, once per session across all doors via `?aloha=seen` (Shaka: "it doesn't annoy and pop up every time").
- **"wooooooooo bby"** — Shaka's actual message delivering the Stripe test keys, Aug 4 17:02 UTC.

- **Fish swam bilingual** — piscesinstitute.com (EN) + piscisinstitute.com (ES) live Aug 4 ~03:00 UTC, the ES twin by SOL 🇪🇸.
